Another great day out with some more new competitors thoroughly enjoying themselves.
Results put paid to any theory that the smaller 2 meter models can't compete on an equal footing !
Chris Foss once again came out on top flying his Starlight, which I understand will soon be available with an electric fuselage, which will save having to ram everything into a VERY small space in the standard F3J fuselage.
Conditions were variable throughout the day with very strong lift and period of NOTHING and again the re-launch rules were used to the full in some slots.
Open Competition
1st - Chris Foss
2nd - Ricky Shaw
3rd - Phil Ramsey
2 Metre Competition
1st - Colin Lucas
2nd - Terry Stuckey
3rd - Martin Garnett
The first 3 2 Metre pilots were ALL flying Multiplex Easy Gliders ! (Now there's value for you!)
