After a Saturday of gales and rain Sunday 4th October was a fine day for soaring, light winds, not too hot with lift and sink in plenty. Unfortunately  the entry numbers were reduced because of the previous week's weather but, as an interesting experiment, DLGers were flying alongside the winch launchers. DLG were allowed 4 launches within the normal 10 minute slot with the landing bonus to count on the last flight. Scores were kept seperately in order to maintain the results for the leagues but the idea showed promise and proved both interesting and enjoyable. 5 rounds were flown followed by a 2 round fly off and the results were:
