There is a plan to run a cross country competition in the Ashdown Forest next year. For those old enough to remember this was a very popular event back in the day, with hand winch thermal gliders, flown on a course in the forest, located in Sussex. Open to BMFA members, the updated rules are being put together to allow other launch methods.
