I think I may have secured the use of a very good flying field over here on the Island. It would appear that the owners would be happy for that field to be used to hold an event of some kind next year and it would be useful to gauge interest. An Open event would probably be best format with perhaps a 2 day format or at least a fly one day, compete the next. Camping and or B&B should be no problem if not on the site then very nearby.

I'd be interested to hear from anyone (from any class) who might be interested at this early stage - including your preferred month - obviously integration with league calendar is going to be important ... and a little time to explore the Island in reasonable weather would probably be good :)
