Its very definitely RED - and very probably RAL3020. Bright red topsides - darkish blue undersides with neon yellow tape stripes (doesn't show well in an evening light photo)
Looking forward to throwing this one around the skies - low camber airfoil looks good for aerobatics. The ballast system is amazing - its 9x slugs or spacers, 20mm dia with a 10mm hole - and a 10mm dia steel rod with a threaded hole in the end - which screws onto a bolt at the far end of the ballast tube - very clever & I've never seen anything like it. Of course, I've got 300g of the rod & spacers - but no ballast slugs - anyone out there got a set of hole-y ballast slugs? Plenty of space in the wing joiner for ballast too.
Its mostly in pretty good condition - still shiny - obvious boom repair but solid, couple of minor LE underside dinks, canopy to make - but the fun bit - some bright spark has glued the wing joiner into the fuselage ??? I never cease to be amazed by what folks do to mouldy old mouldies. Reaching out for the cyano debonder right now...
