Hi-phase flies after 35 years!

I “remaidened” this old beauty on white sheet yesterday. It flew very well, and  landings were a doddle with the airbrakes. Ive had the Hi-phase For 35 years and  not touched It since then! It’s been dragged screaming and kicking into the 21 century, with a new battery, and a Jeti receiver. It still has the original fleet servos that I put in all those years ago, just new plugs I’ve crimped on. Love the way the sun shines through the built up wings.
I was more nervous flying the Hi - phase than the Baudis plastic stuff i normally fly, because if I stuff it in, it’s irreplaceable! Unlike plastic, which is replaceable!

funny old hobby sometimes!🤔

Hi Pete,

yes, I did build it, but with the foam wings. They were very heavy, so made the built up wings instead. Mine came out much lighter than the foam ones.
