F5J at Bartletts Farm - Saturday 12th Sept

Recommended Posts

An excellent day - despite a couple of errors that resulted in a lucky escape for me but, unfortunately, not for Pete with a badly damaged model. Brian also suffered a few issues with batteries or something making his model loose power on launch.

We all took turns to time and spot which resulted in a zero score, I did slot 1. Pete 2, Steve 3, Brian 4, Ian 5 and John 6. Other zeros are for motor restarts, model problems or 'land outs'. I was doing OK until I had a motor restart due to being too low to get back to the field, had to fire the motor up three times and still stuck it in a tree 😞 - poor flying, along with massive sink and stiff headwind, Pete also got caught out and restarted his motor in that round (5).
