Hi all. We’ve just arrived for a week in Wales near Fishguard. Can anyone out there point me to some suitable slopes and their flyable directions, please? Are St David’s Head, Strumble Head and Dinas Head any good and what are their directions?

look forward to hearing from some of you!

Richard

Should be plenty of soarable cliffs round there. Look on an OS map - or look on bing maps online & flip it to OS maps view.

Seem to remember flying off the slope/cliffs south of Newgale beach many years ago - nice big beach too.

Thanks for the replies. We’ve been for a walk over Dinas Head today and established it’s not a flyable site. The walk along the Coastal path is too long and difficult and the cliffs have no good landing areas. In the next few days we’ll visit Newgale beach and report back about the suitability of the cliffs.
