Well I'm currently on route to spend a few days in the area. Staying in Malton at B&b. Had intended to come for the week in the caravan but I'm not able to drive comfortably yet so Liz is chauffeuring me around.

If anyone is around over the next few days, happy to meet up for a drink etc.

Do I remember flying a Northerly on the Hole before. Basically the opposite of the main bowl, with the old pub Saltersgate??) on your right?

you cant just move a BMFA comp at last minute ....them is the rules ...

Yes I understand that. It's just unfortunate that we are so much relying on the weather, and in many cases we have to cancel thr comps because of it.

Just saying that there may need to be a subtle change that if all the participants agree to move it...then it would beneficial for all I guess. I understand there are rules...but may need more flexibility.

We don't have a direct north slope, it's either NE or the NNW face. NE is the better of the two. So if its dead north wind and light it's not gunna be much fun
