Due to the location of our accommodation, Andy.B, Les.W and Paul.S are going to try "Namaste Bengal" curry house in Pickering for the Saturday evening. Our table reservation is 8pm. For anyone else in the area wanting to join us, the restaurant has online table reservation to make things easy. They also have a fully licenced bar. We understand that for those staying in Whitby, you'll probably prefer to stay closer to home.

We would attend you. Peter, Peter and I.

Could you add us to your reservation, please?

Meet time on Friday morning will be 9 a.m. at Saltergate Car Park.

We will assign pilot numbers and hand out bibs here before moving to the slope.

Looking forward to get a good comp these days.

Anyone of you have a spare set of ballast (or won't use it much...) for the pike1 I could borrow,?

Hi Aliex

I will have a spare set of freestyler ballast with me, it will fit but just rattle a bit in the wing boxes 😬

I am under strict instructions from Andy B to publish the results from today .
I wonder why? 🙂

Very mixed weather, showers certainly, but periods of lights winds, some from any direction but on the slope!
So progress today was slow, with only 2 rounds completed ( one of them group scored! )
3rd round started but had to be abandoned.

Results are Andy B leading,  Mike Mc second and JP in third.
Fastest time: 42.69 by Dieter in round 1. Well done guys.

That was a tough day, let's hope for slightly more sensible conditions tomorrow.

Great to see Andy at the top though - a 500 point differential in 2 rounds. Wow!!!
