Nic8 Posted May 7, 2023 Posted May 7, 2023 Good afternoon, I am new to the Jeti system and even though I’ve worked out some of the programming from Harry’s videos I was wounding if anyone would share what I really need in the form of mixes to get the most from my model please.

Here’s my radio-agnostic guide to programming an F3F model. It goes into the details of mixers and flight modes for a full feature setup: http://rc-soar.blogspot.co.uk/2011/10/ultimate-f3f-program.html
satinet Posted May 7, 2023 Posted May 7, 2023 (edited) Free mixes you need: Aileron to flap Elevator to flap Elevator to aileron Aileron differential, vtail and crow brakes are built in functions. You could also need flaps to aileron if you intend to control the trailing edge camber on a proportional control. If not look in the fight mode trim menu. Those are the basics for 4 servo wings. There's are at least the ways to offset the flap servos for more down travel. Harry's videos mention one way. Edited May 7, 2023 by satinet
Nic8 Posted May 7, 2023 Author Posted May 7, 2023 Thank for another reply, yes I’ve found Harry’s video on using a curve the set the flaps neutral point and works great with out messing every thing else up.
Nic8 Posted May 7, 2023 Author Posted May 7, 2023 From reading Mikes blog, is the jeti system capable of inflight adjustment ?
satinet Posted May 7, 2023 Posted May 7, 2023 Another point to note is that the radio will automatically assign a control to flaps when you set the model up. You can end up with the flaps being non centered without realizing it. Although there isa screen to monitor servo position. I would recommend setting the dual rate to zero on the flap control while you do the basic setup even if you intended to use it.

satinet Posted May 7, 2023 Posted May 7, 2023 Oh yeah you need to use aileron to Rudder mix it you want the rudders to move when you move the aileron stick.
