We have not had the best of winter leagues this year with many regions not flying at all, but there is light at the end of the tunnel in the form of Champion of Champions.

All are invited, so if you fancy a weekend of flying at the Hole of Horcum before the summer season kicks off, register your interest here:

I've never been to Hole of Horcum, I assume it will be Levisham tomorrow. Any idea where we meet and at what time?

Good questions! Usually Saltergate car park at 9am. I expect it will be posted.

So, shall we just meet 9am at Levisham?

Hi Guys

I was going to say a little later, but seeing as you are all so keen, meet at Levisham at 9am.
As Peter has posted, meet at the end of Braygate Lane by the gate.

The end of the winter season is being given the focus and dedication it deserves

A good day today 15-21ms at the start but Levisham is still cruel even when it's windy! The wind died down a bit after 3pm.

We managed 13 rounds with a short break after every 5 as it was pretty hectic. Pengy was going very well, flying directly behind me, no doubt after using all his working time to let my sh*te air go through.

All to play for tomorrow though with another very windy start forecast. Its been a good while since we have had a proper windy comp, not saying its a classic (on Levisham) but has good potential for tomorrow.

YeeHaa!! Wild and Windy on Levisham for sure.
Not known it so livelly, a case of hold on tight and hope for the best.
Some terrific flights from Pengy who also had FTD of 33.25

Results after 13 Rounds :-

It's great having a helper to carry some of my gear on and off the slope, very thankful.

Although the running cost needs looking at.

Well Levisham shud upto it's usual with a mixed bag of results for me and many other today.

Great to see Paul Garnnet put us all to shame with some amazing flying to top day ones leader board.

Flying was quite tricky with  blustery conditions a lot of the time.

13 rounds in made it a very busy day between Flying buzzing and a bit of chucking off.

It's been the first time in years I've come off the slope feeling wiped out

Couple of beers followed by the fish and then a couple more beers,in bed at 8:30 and hopefully another good day tomorrow.

Bring it on
