Entry is now open for the reserve date on 9th June.

http://www.gbsra.co.uk/competition-entries

If at all possible, we will fly at whitesheet.

If it does not look possible, we will have the option to fly in Wales.

This will be decided on the Thursday before the competition.

Email from Whitesheet club

Attention all,

The weather forecast for Sunday is looking good for our F3f competition. Therefore, we have called the event ON.

For the duration of the competition, Sunday 9th June, the slopes will be closed to all but those who are competing.

Competitions are usually wound up late afternoon and at that time slopes will reopen to all.

Yes, thirteen rounds. We all had our share of variable conditions, no rain, buttercups to land in, lovely really. . I must try not to tread on the loudspeaker again.

Hi Les,
Yes we had 13 rounds of interesting Whitesheet air, varying from 80+ to sub 40, however, given the number of rounds meant the variability mostly evened out.
Except for poor Mark T😭.

Top 3 were
1. Mark Redsell
2. Dave Rumble.
3. Graeme Mahoney

That great to hear Bruce apart from your large feet lol.

I needed to get the Freestyler 5 test flown and a basic set-up done.

A very nice day out, lush grass and buttercups, sunshine and wind.

Things weren't always mixed in the ideal quantities, but there was enough good bits to keep everybody happy.

Well Will was happy for a while. 😂. FTD was his for quite a while.

Then it wasn't.

Then it wasn't again!

😁.

Was an awesome day out. Great to be flying in a comp again, it's been way too long.

Was a good day till I left the slope and got a puncture, only to find out the foam spray was missing and it took me an hour of pumping up the tyre, driving 10 minutes, pumping up the tyre again and repeat, before I got to a services the sold a foam kit.

Then it was 50mph all the way home... 10pm and only just walked in..  knackered...

Good to see you back competing Brett and more importantly having a good time. Long may it continue. Sorry to hear about the puncture. My car scrapped the track several times going up and down the hill. I won't be driving up there again in a hurry. May have to park at the lower car park and walk up until the track is sorted.
