I need a complex TX that is easy to use and works

Hi - I have wrestled unsuccessfully with several Taranis transmitters and realised that I find OpenTX (and probably EdgeTX) almost impossible to do anything useful with. I then tried an FrSKY X18 with a 4 in 1 module, and while Ethos is quite a nice wrapper, I never got the 4 in 1 module to bind to anything legacy. I didn't try binding to anything new as I'd already sent it back.

So, I need something with a nice programming wrapper, 10-12 channels, and support for old-style FrSKY (e.g ACCST), SFHSS and DSM2 receivers.

Anyone know of anything that works (and I mean really works, in the hand, on the field, or anywhere else)?
