Your scores will still count towards the league, as you can use upto two scores from overseas contests.  😜

7.5.2.4 Overseas Contests
A competitor can submit up to two scores from overseas competitions if
(a) The competition is listed on the current FAI Sporting Calendar.
(b) The competition meets the minimum BMFA requirements as defined above.
(c) The competition results are published on a recognised F3K web site.

Good news - The forecast is looking promising for Saturday and we have reached the required number of entries!

Any more pilots interested? It would be good to get 8 rather than the difficult to matrix 7. @MikevE@FlyingFinn14@PaSky?

Wow that looks stunning! Hope you hope the flying conditions were as good as they look.

We had a good day with very calm conditions and a fair bit of mist/fog especially early on in the day. Despite that there was good thermals in a number of rounds; with one in a latter round that basically stayed put through out the whole 10 minutes.

We had Paul R's plane in a pretty dense oak at the start of the day, he just clipped it and it spun him in. We got it out in one piece though. It was a pity Finn wasn't there though as then he would have been the one to receive the honor of being tree climber.

What an amazing day!

League table now updated, and I can confirm it is best 5 contests to count towards your score.

Thanks for all the help removing the model from the tree and especially to Kohen for the climbing and skillful poking.

I haven't checked the servo yet, but assuming that is ok I think I got away with a bit of tape over a hole in the tail and regluing the control horn in the aileron!

I started the day feeling very tired and ended the day feeling super tired and ended up stopping for a nap at the services on the way home and then was asleep at home before 9:30pm!

An very enjoyable day, despite the tree contact. Thanks all and well done to the top three on a great battle.

League scores now updated with the inclusion of Stern Bros Inc, and their trip to Switzerland.

This makes for very interesting reading and change of places at the top of the table, now less than 0.5% points separating the top three!

With only two competitions left on the calendar, it is all to play for, and this is exactly what I hoped for when we made the local BMFA rule changes which came into effect this year.

This makes for a very fascinating and tense end to the season, cannot wait!  😍

And don't forget that there are also some pilots with less than 5 scores counting which means things can change even more if we manage to run both remaining events...
