I'm coming out of the other side of man flu so with true British grit I'll be there.

Besides, I'm bringing Brett so get to infect him on the journey. Winner 🏆

See you tomorrow peeps.

Was great to be back at the Mynd for a comp, it's been way too long.

Thanks for hosting, it was a great day.

Good to see a few more faces on the slope .

Well done to Andy  Dave and Mark for taking the top 3 position.

But especially Well done to DDM flying his Wassabi and smashing the bases with pin point position .

Also thanks to Frank for helping out on the bases and looking forward in seeing you fly with us in the new year.

Unfortunately I had a servo gear go on the Vantage then couldn't get the Freestyler 5 to work so only 5 rounds for me.

Got back home to investigate the Freestyler to find its not batteries that we first thought was the problem but the receiver was dead, another £76 to buy a new one .

Great to catch up with everyone again and fingers crossed next Saturday in Wales brings me better luck

Thank you for the kind welcome, it was nice to meet you and see a competition.  All of this just confirmed that I must join you.  PS  the heated seat is a good thing!

Kind regards Frank

A lovely day, Cold but sunny and bright, but just as the sun was coming around to being a problem sitting right on base A a cloud came and stayed the rest of the afternoon. perfect.

Conditions were varied, for most sitting around low 50,s.  there were a few flights that hit the mid 40,s and a few unlucky ones into the mid 60,s.

On the whole and enjoyable comp with a level of variability that was fine for a fun winter comp with 10 rounds flown to smooth the pot,

Thanks for everyone that came along today. Real shame we lost Les to a mechanical.

To those that stayed home, I hope you enjoyed doing the housework 😄

I thought I would add the results to F3X Vault as a way for people to look at the competition stats easily.

For anyone interested in building your profile on the platform, it will also mean your times and stats can start being saved for our local UK competitions, rather than only the Euro Tours. Some of you have more than one F3X profile, so I selected the one with the most information on it, so hopefully its the correct one.

I'm hoping if people see their profiles building, it will help add some extra enthusiasm to the sport. If people want, I am willing to put the time in to do it for all UK competitions, and possibly even work on historical comps to get them added, if that's what people want.

This is just one small suggestion to try help build up F3F pilot morale, as apposed to looking for new pilots. I know we dont use F3X much here in the UK, but maybe thats because the comps dont ever get loaded. Chicken and egg maybe...

If anyone wants me to add the model then just send it to me on PM. I cant remember what everyone was flying but I have tried to add what I can.
