Last call for tomorrow ! I can take entries up to 7pm tonight (Sat 2nd July) and will leave 2 places in the matrix for anyone who may turn up to fly tomorrow morning but has not booked in. Any last minute entry in the morning must be on 2.4GHz or a free 35MHz frequency. With 30 entries so far we will be running FOUR slots per round and fly 6 rounds during the day to finish at 5pm with prize-giving at 5.30pm.Please see the first entry in this topic for full event details.PARKING – Recent weather conditions have resulted in the grass being a little longer than normal, so you can expect some nice soft landings! However, we want to be as helpful as possible to the farmer and minimise damage to his future crop, so it would be appreciated if as many as possible could park on the concrete parking area just outside the field. It is only a few metres walk from the parking area through the gate to the flying field. If you do have to park in the flying field please keep well to the left.THE WEATHER looks more promising than for many weeks, and we expect very low winds speeds, sunshine, copious thermal activity and a close contest.See you all tomorrow – PILOT BRIEFING 9.45 AM – we have a busy day ahead and will adhere strictly to timings for the day. Please arrive early if you need to test fly, check height limiter(s) or engage in any other pre-contest activity! The gate will be open from about 8.30am.Martin Bell (CD)
