Looks like you are both doing well Simon

Think I have seen videos of that slope on the internet - looks challenging.

Are you both flying the N124's?

I've seen the vids from last year too Paul. Looks like a challenge.

Congrats for the great effort so far guys. Are you sitting on separate sides of the room with your backs to eachother? Pretty close so far! Good luck for tomorrow and Sunday!

Results have been posted on the link Simon has posted, currently Simon is in 7th and I'm in 6th.

Very challenging but great learning experience.

Well done chaps, looking good

There's a fair old spread in the times, especially that last round - Martin Ziegler made a killing in that one!

Where is he from out of interest?

He is one of the strong Austrian WC team. Conditions have been quite variable times. Quite a few crunches, including Sigi, and lukas launching without his wings taped on, causing them to part leaving an aileron hard over. Both our first flights were something of a learning exercise, but hopefully we are quick learners, and we were soon skimming the fence. We should be back at the reservoir tomorrow, and possibly a low coastal site on Sunday. I have been flying my Needle. It has worked well in the conditions.

Looks like Simon is doing really well today

Lukas can't be lucky EVERY SINGLE ROUND can he? What is he doing different to everyone else that he can be fairly consistently faster? Is it weight and flat EM type turns? Or does he just make less mistakes than most?

Hy Simon, Hi Martin. Very well done.

The Austrian's did a very good and hard practice along two years. As you may be have seen they are flying a perfect style and just this style is fast enough. On German Open last year the Herrigs could convince theirself.

You can learn this style even though the launching procedure is the goal. The climb heights are amazing.

Also the turns should be not too hard as you may be have seen.

However, I think you are in good positions , I hope you will have good lift to getr best times.

Guys, I believe on you and with good luck you can beat all.

Cheers

Looks like Simon and Martin are having a tough time in the last few rounds. If I'm understanding right Lukas won round 11 by 13 seconds with a 31.29!!!

Afraid my weekend was over after the first few rounds today as you probably noted by the scores. Finally got some good air on course to really get moving, only for it to change rapidly and become a passenger as the FS3 become one with the slope. Sadly the needle nose also damaged on landing has forced me to have retire and become launcher / spectator for the rest of the weekend.

F3F is tough takes no prisoners. Quite disappointed as after 10 rounds with a zero score was still hanging on to top ten.

OH No Martin! I hate breaking stuff. A LOT of no scores on those sheets! Bad luck mate, good luck to Simon :)
