Using this Sub Forum and the New Calendar Features

If you are an organiser of F3F events you can post topics here and add them to the Event Calendar. Some brief instructions on how to do it.

You can view the calendar by clicking on "Calendar - Event Calendar" from the main menu bar. Use the "prev month" or "next month" buttons to navigate forward or backwards in time. Upcoming events will show on the front page of the forums. To quickly create an event click on "+ Create" at the very top of the page near your name and select "Event". The rest is self explanatory. Ensure you add all the information you can. eg. venue location, day and time the event starts, entry contact details and a link to the forum topic if there is one.

The calendar can be imported to a phone, tablet or computer. This means you always have access to it without visiting the website or forums. To import the calendar navigate to the Event Calendar, click the cog next to the "Create Event" button and select "Subscribe to iCalendar feed", follow the instructions and it should add the event calendar as an additional calendar. Once added the calendar may have a strange name so rename it. You can also download the iCalendar export file for import into Outlook.
