Just wondering if adding capping strips of perhaps 64th ply onto the faces of the cut outs would be a worthwhile addition to stop the wood splitting down the grain. Looks from your flying that you felt very happy with the model and your set up etc very quickly. 9 months of hard work building her has been well worth it. Please if you don't mind don't post in this thread - I tried to get the spelling of the heading corrected from "Greacalis" to "Graecalis", instead it's turned into "Greacalsi", hence I started the new thread.....
