I just realised why the FS3 was a handfull, its supposed to be two spacers at the back of the tube then 8 forward but I had 8 at the back and two spacers in the front

I havn't checked but reckon that will take the CG back by about 5mm and make my elevator settings suicidal. Won't do that again...

thought so pete,i asked if you had ballasted correctly........

Legs finally stopped aching, its not the climbing that's done me in, its the walking back down!

Not much time to shoot any decent footage, was a mad weekend!

Me sitting/collapsed on the ground at the end is me recovering from the second climb of the weekend

It was a hectic couple of days but great conditions for the Scottish Nats with some brilliant flying to be seen.

Thanks Tom

Got the FS3 back together today and established that the c of g moves back 7mm when you do the ballast boob that I did, about 103mm.

I don't even think Iron pants could handle a c of g that far back with 6mm elevator

No wonder it flicked so readily Peter! Glad it is back together.
