Crevices?!

Recommended Posts

Gary B

Seen on the Vladimir's Maxa web page:

Details like hatches, rods, screws, crevices

Do they fill these crevices with helium?!!

Best not to let the wife know that I was looking at that web page, I'm in enough trouble!!

 Cheers

Sounds to me like they're employing a Mr. Finbarr (Fnarr fnarr) Saunders of Fulchester... ;)

Crevice is a filthy word according to General Sir Anthony Cecil Hogmanay Melchett!!

Ok, spent half an hour painting the house, back to glider browsing!

Hi Gary

Not bad so far but I STILL can't fathom how our friends across the herring pond in the  "home of the brave, land of the free" can call an aircraft ..........A SHIP!

BTW ISA Nostalgia Day on the 21st - can you get the day off? it is a Saturday..........and you've still got ten days to bribe or negotiate with your employer.......

Regards

Pete

Sorry Pete, I completely missed your post somehow.

How did it go?

Would not have been able to make it anyway (there's always next year as we say at work!).

Collected a barn find of a brand spankers unbuilt Hi-Phase today, the fuselage is mint but the wing veneer has completely come unglued in the blanks, planning on another set of built-up wings.

Hi Gary

Cr*p weather in the morning, cold drizzle, low cloud no thermal.

Perfect weather in the afternoon 8-10 MPH westerlies, no rain, thermals aplenty

Featured the maiden flight of Alan Morgan's "Leprechaun" - which used to be mine, and Jim Chambers "Dagling", BOT's, Veron Vortex, Graupner Cirrus, two Amigos, my Algebra 2.5 and Austinair "Trilogy 7"

Flying 'til (very nearly) dark - magic!

Put 2014 date in your diary - or else!

Regards

Pete
