Many thanks to BARCS for their support to the BARCS members in the F3K Team in Denmark - both pilots and helpers/spotters. Whilst the BMFA provide good support, it doesn't fully cover costs so additional help is very welcome.

We didn't do as well this year as in Sweden 2011 where Michael Stern took the Bronze Medal and Joe Wurts was the winner.

This time Michael was 27th, Richard Swindells was 29th and Nick Chitty was 65th. Henrik Vogler of Germany was the winner.

One thing that would push our top pilots to even higher levels is stronger competition at home. Many F3K models are flown in the UK but people don't compete in the competitions.

We will try to organise some non-competition events where you can come and fly with the experts and pick up some tips. F3K is a nice simple looking class that will improve your low-level weak lift soaring skills and make you think tactically. We can run some try-out demonstration slots too.

If you'd like a try-it event at your field let us know!
