I've finally finished my scratch built 40% ASG29!

Excellent Simon - you must be incredibly proud of a fantastic achievement. All the take offs and landings looked very benign, and the speed looked good. The wings seem to be nicely stiff, and very modest bending. Can't wait to see it in the flesh.

Absolutely fantastic , really does look and fly well .

NICE ONE

Just needs some nice low passes over a slope to give some real presence

Yes I agree Gareth, they'll a much better perspective of size and speed when viewed from a slope. We're still debating how difficult it will be to launch though!....

Loved the build thread, was keeping an eye for the last few months. Big kahunas to launch after all those hours!

Now, slope it slope it slope it :)

Wow. Absolutely amazed.

A clubmate is building an 8m ASW17. I am sure he will benefit from your assistance at some stage, and I know you will be willing to help.

What's next on your project list?

:)

Very happy to help with a fellow builder Jef!

I'm not planning on any big projects in the foreseeable future, but I want to make a scale interior and wheel retract for the ASG29 and a new set of wings for a smaller 5m glider.

I may build a vintage wooden glider in the future.....
