mark_r Posted March 15, 2014 Share Posted March 15, 2014 Results from final round of the Northern League comp - It was a good day on Levisham today, although the hill did its best to challenge us all with a wide range of lift, sink and general variability as the windspeed built throughout the day from around 11m/s to around 22m/s average. We got through 13 rounds with 13 fliers, so everyone got a dose of the variability, most coping very well with the conditions. Also a very creditable performance from 1st timer Neil Sheard (well done Neil). It certainly felt as though we had been battered a bit throughout the day, but a good final comp to complete the series. Just wish the air was as smooth, yet variability just adds another element to the very long F3F learning curve.
