If you have up trimmed in, this usually indicates that the CG is too far forward.

I would try taping a small weight (10g) to the boom at the same distance back from the CG position as the nose is forward. That way when you find the 'sweet spot' you can just remove the same weight from the nose as you have taped on the back.

Be aware that moving the CG back will make the elevator more responsive, so the compensation on the crow will need reducing, and also the overall elevator movement and snap flap too.

Models usually have positive tail incidence if any, and a good race trim is often a little bit of down.
