Hi

Would anyone know where I would find carbon folding propellers that are white!?

Or shall a get the one I already have painted!?

Not too keen on the black!

cheers

I have seen white folding props, but I can't remember where...  I paint all my props.

Likewise.....seen them but can't find any other than plastic! or some fibreglass ones that are not big enough.

Thinking painting is the answer :)

Ahh yes I did see those, unfortunately I need a size not shown 18x11 :-/

Can I ask what paint do you use on your blades?

Mine are Aero-naut Carbon

cheers

I usually use those props too. Just a good sanding with very fine wet paper, then spray cans works fine.

Thanks for your input Chris  :)

I decided to give my prop and spinner to a friend who runs his own car body shop! He will do a better job than I will be able to do.....plus we went through a load of car manufacturer paints to get a close match ;)

Hopefully it'll be painted next week :D

Just as an aside from the painting route, a white AeroNaut 18x8 Glas Classic folder could be used with a 3.5 degree positively twisted hub/centrepiece/yoke to increase the pitch to 10.72

Thanks for the links!

I guess those would be great for competition use, but for a glider "get out of trouble when lift fails only" power system (which is my normal use for white props) they are a tad expensive compared to Aeronaut cam props..

I would always use carbon cloth/weave props, as those from just carbon or glass can break and do with disasterous results. The cloth ones may be "atad expensive" but what price a model, that can be lost if the prop gives way.
