Obsessed flyier

Hi ensemble,

I was in UK several times and went to fly a couple also, once at White horse and the last one, a couple of years ago, at St. Agnes, Cornwall.

Plans could be I come with my son this summer again.

Will probably ask for some suggestions about ultimate slopes to fly fast and dynamic soaring.

Actually I'm developping a plank (Trisel) and a small Foka4.

For those interested, there are some videos about all that on my Youtube channel.

Best regards,

Ric

Welcome to the forum!

If you give some idea of the areas in the UK you are most likely to visit, I'm sure that there will be plenty of suggestions for flying locations.

Your Foka 4 looks very nice indeed. What wingspan is it? The full size was always one of my favourites.

Ro.

Hey, thanks for welcome!

The Foka is 220cm wingspan. I flew it yesterday for some more testing and clocked it at 160km/h. Not so bad for mild conditions and not pushing it really hard. Average speed of the entire 29minutes flight is 68km/h, which is very close to the expected 20m/sec.
