I hope you're not suggesting that the british pilots are too lazy to even book their own curry Stefan :D

See you on saturday

Looks like the wind has moved around to westerly tomorrow...  Any chance of getting the gate opened?

Fantastic days sports flying, wind was light but the thermals made up for it. Currently sampling Bridgend :)

Have fun everyone. I planned to sit this one out to get prep work done for Slovakia, but I will still miss being there.

Sampling Bridgend could be bad for your health Joel!

We were on the sw slope think we got 11 rounds in. Good day, times weren't ballistic but most rounds were won by a sub 40

Let's just say that the drive to the lakes was definitely the low point of the weekend.

Thanks to everyone who made the weekend so enjoyable. Especially Martin who as always put in 120%

Roll on the Welsh Open :)

Great comp (on Staturday). Relaxed atmosphere with a bunch of great guys. Also some great flying with Joel proving once more that reversals aren't dead yet. Beside winning the thing he also had the fastest time of the comp 34.xx - well done mate.

Martin will for sure post the results soon, so just what I still know

1st. Joel West

2nd. Martin Newnham (who as always did a great job organising the whole thing)

3rd. Stefan Bertschi

4th. Abbo (with a more or less brand new caldera on the course)

5th. Graeme Mahoney

...

See you soon at the Welsh

Cheers

Well done Joel - spectacular flying !

A big thankyou to Martin for organising us & making the tough weather call today
and a special thankyou to Stefan for booking the curry house
and commiserations to Tony for the official/unofficial 35.x

After the weather call I went for plan B - trip over to Rhossili - beautiful weather there - but blowing a steady 65mph on top - hard to stand up - no one else there to help launch a skinny F3F plane - so the Freestyler stayed in the bag - shame, it would have been truly ballistic.

Phil.
