Hello from the Midlands

just a quick hello to all ,

i'm a new member here , have been trying to fly gliders for a couple of years now and love it , i'm slowly finding that i'm flying more than fixing , so something must be improving with my flying !!

we keep meaning to try more sites but never seem to get round to things , i fly with two friends, we have made it to Ivanhoe a couple of times but not anywhere else yet , our local slope is honey hill , i have seen the pimple in a few youtube videos and looks to be a good slope .

There is a local competition once a month at Twywell Northampton might be worth you popping down to have a nosey  :thumbsup:

 

thats strange as we were only talking about trying to visit a competition last Saturday , just to see what go's on and how the models fly compared to ourselves, thanks for the information is there a list of dates somewhere on here ? also is it ok to just turn up as spectators ?
