abbof3f
Well done on the pb John. Sounds like a good days flying for all. Well done to all yesterday, myself and Ron really enjoying a "no pressure"flying day...strange isnt it ,i said to myself before the comp, not to be too bothered about my position today gonna try the srtl on course for a laugh (went 39 and 38 with her first to runs ....chuffed what a model)Then flying a massive double cut recovery on base A with the srtl annoyed me and my f3f competitive streak immediately kicked back in .Just had to fly the caldera from then on ,(aggressively lol)... f3f is wonderful ...17 rounds on the wrecker with ,good company, banter and a lovely day out.f3f draws you in to compete ....ya just gotta try to go fast in those conditions.......well done to all see you in two weeks. .chuffed for John T he,s stuck at it an finally gone sub 40 ...well done that man!ps i put Ron in the fridge when we got home to warm him up lolol

Greg Dakin
However, the real story of this league is surely Greg Dakin's. Did he really come within a gnat's crotchet of both of them, without even bothering to turn up for the 5th round? Or does the computer tell fibs? Perhaps it was so dark all day, he remained invisible. LoL - I'm as surprised as you are John, to make it onto the podium in such esteemed company is a real privilege. Congrats to Simon and Joel for some excellent winter leaguing, and a big thanks to AJ and Clayts for organising the activities. Good on you too John for breaking the sub-40 barrier - splendid result! Cheers, Greg
Greg Dakin
Still a good result considering he's flying a collection of spare parts I say, that's a trite irregular - I've never been so offended Joel :-) Leave my parts alone... Greg
