If you are picking JP up you could pick me and the two kids up on the way through. You will of course need to take some strong horse tranquilizers to survive the journey to Spain

If any of you are thinking of going I would recommend looking at the Ferries sooner than later. Getting days you want with the cabin you want on an school hol period is tricky if left to late

Hi Tone,

Look forward to seeing you there.

Ferry booked into Santander arriving Saturday 28th March

then we have booked a villa for 4 nights just 40km east, close to Santona.

Have a look on Google Earth.

The N Spanish coastline is stunning and I intend to squeeze our bikes in this time for a few days cycling around the area.

Booked the Tryp from Wednesday 1st until Tuesday,

ferry back from Bilbao on Thursday 9th - may stay at the Tryp until then or may make a stop over mid route back.

Two weeks tomorrow - ferry is sailing, ready or not.

and no babies have been anywhere near the bathwater.

Looks like I will have one weekend to sort everything.

Then again I might just chill.

Just got to the hotel, Tony Robertson, Wendy and me.

Man that was a long drive, think I will fly over next time. Hill looks good in the sun shine, hope to drive up after we sort our rooms out.

There does not seam to be much wind so we will just have a look and think.

Arrived on hill at 12.30 stonking wind and wall to wall sunshine and thermals. Wind dropped slightly as the afternoon wore on but lift got better. Alliaj and fs4 going great. Tomorrow is forecast as lighter wind.

Good day today, really nice place to fly.

Had a flight or too with the Noodle, great when it was in lift but spent most of the time practicing in the bad air.

That seamed a good plan, till the air went well crossed that was horrible. But we may have to fly like that tomorrow so worth the effort I think.

Here we are in sunny Spain. It's a great hill, that might have been designed for F3F. Pity about the wind. We flew three rounds yesterday in very variable air, with occasional strong thermal activity, allowing most people's scores to be effectively decimated. This morning, the fourth round was flown in more consistent air, but it was consistently marginal so the best time was a 54. Would I have won the round if I hadn't cut? Who knows. As it was I did cut, and got a 58.

The wind was dying towards midday, and there was a break, followed by just enough wind to allow the round to be finished. That was it for the day, so fun was had with electrics, DLG's, drones and a bungee. I had a siesta as well. When in Spain.....

Pierre Rondel leads by a large margin, followed by Iñaki Elizondo and Jose Luis Fernandez. Top Brit is JP (7th), followed by Mike S (8th), Mark T (21st), Kevin (28th), me (34th), Mike E (38th), AJ (42nd), Tony R(46th) and Vic (49th).

Weather forecast is excellent for tomorrow.
