Hi all,

I thought I would make my first post by introducing myself on here to you all :)

My name is Rob, I'm 47, and have been into everything RC since I was 8!! So 39 years in this wonderful hobby.

I started, like most do, in RC Cars, but these days I mostly fly 700 size Helicopters, and have in the last year got into Quads and FPV, and just lately into 250mm racing FPV Quads.

I've never really done much gliding, only just dabbled in it with an E-Flight Radian, and a Multiplex Blizzard.

A good friend of mine has really got into Slope soaring, and I have just bought a second hand PCM Erwin 5 2m All carbon Glider from him, so I'm here to read up as much as I can to learn some tips from you guys.

Any advise or reference to good video's/publications would be most welcome.

Thanks all, Rob.

Hi Rob,

Welcome to BARCS forum. You might have heard of the South Cotswold Soaring Association (SCSA) glider club ?  We fly slope soarers/electric gliders around the Stroud area, so we're pretty close to Gloucester. Have a look at our website  - http://www.scsa.org.uk/   and also the "Cotswolds Slopers" forum here on BARCS

Regards,

Mike
