Hi all

Sorry for the delay

Yesterdays Southern League 4

Simon Thornton 8949.1

Tony Livingstone 8266.4

John Phillips 8016.2

Greame Mahoney 7986.5

Ian Falconer 7062

Peter Burgess 6802.1

Tony Roberson 5856.6

Alan Purkess 4561.2

Simon was in great form again wining most of the rounds, only Tony L and Greame snatching one apiece off him.

Great to fly at Butser again and meet so old freind from there, Alan Purkiss had a go from the club and did ok with his older style plane.

Thanks to all for your efforts yesterday and in the Southern winter league this winter, hope to have the finnal possitions sorted very soon.

Big thanks JP for all your hard work yesterday.  You didn't even have time to get grumpy!  Also to Tony R for manning the centre with JP.

Big thanks to JP and Tony for running the show.

Congrats to Simon for showing us how it's done in the turbulent crossed conditions, at least I managed to sneak one round off him, unfortunately I came on form in my last flight of the last round... Typical!

Welldone Tony L on second and John on his third.

Note of caution...

During landing on my first flight my RX battery alarm went off, strange as it was fully charged the night before, after squirting almost 400 in it, I continued with no issues for a further 4 rounds, when just to be safe topped it up. Got home, looked at the battery, not puffed or any outward signs of problems, however it now won't charge or discharge on any of my chargers, I think the cold may have killed it, I consider myself a very lucky boy ('twas an almost new overlander Lipo)

Batteries don't like cold whatever chemistry they are.

Graeme.

Well done, are you all done now?

If so I know some of you have confirmed you are attending the champ of champs can the other confirm.

FYI to confirm the local CD gets an automatic entry which means the in this case it is the top 6.  Simon, Tony and Graeme have confirmed so that just leaves Ian and Martin to confirm.

If you can let me know ASAP as other may wish to attend but need time to arrange things.

Thanks
