Midlands Winter F3f League

I gave up the option of an all expenses paid works Christmas night out tonight, so that I would be fresh and focused for the comp.

On the positive side, I guess my liver and eardrums will thank me for the choice I made :)

XC and BBC forecasts for Saturday are dry with southerly strong wind.

Why not have our contest then (if it stays dry) to make up for missing first 2?

Anyone up for it?

Early days with th eweather call, with just how changeable its been recently, but also the Welsh winter comp is on Sunday and it may make it difficult for a few of the guys to be able to do.

It's a brand new Year!

The sun WILL be shining and the WIND will be blowing in all the right directions.

And the ONE DAY that this is all going to happen is........

SATURDAY 9th January 2016.

Which forunately coincides with the next Long Mynd Winter league F3f comp.

So be there 9.30am and lets have a ball....

I'm calling the comp ON.

Forecast shows possibility of rain showers. As with any shower its hard to predict the location they will fall on.

Hopefully they will be a few miles down the road and not on my head..

Wind forecast is ideal.

9.00am at the top of the Burway.

Not all pilots use the rsvp system Jerry.

there may be a few more. But I'll be there anyway. I have a few foamies  use to fly.

I dislike the weather call when the forecast is showery. The only way to fly during our winters seems to be to take your chances.

Sorry Mike, I think the weather call may be OK if you live nearby but I don't think it is worth the trip, for me.  Forecast looks too bad so I'm crying off.
