Any reason why the meio can't be a backup venue?

I'll look forward to see some video of it going mad fast.

I've never had a plane go so fast.

Makes up for all tha sitting around.

Shame we didn't manage to get the comp in but we can't do much about the low clag.

Anyway it's always nice to have a chin wag with you all.

Almost managed a comp. just about to start then it rain. Just s little bit enough to delay them it went claggy again.

I was enjoying my self flying my lightish wild thing in the 19ms air. Joel had a fly with his fs4 that was ballistic he came back saying it was 30 sec air. It certainly was very buoyant.

Sorry to hear about ystdy's non event due to the Welsh clag, incredibly frustrating for everyone.

Had the clag cleared what was the wind strength ? I'd have thought it was a 'tad windy' , upper 40 mph ?

Good to hear that a few of you salvaged some very good flying on other slopes.

Wind was strong Stu, 16 - 20m/s, but I could fly my Wildthing along the slope edge trimming the grass so it was actually very smooth. It would have been a great comp.

Makes the clag so much more frustrating for you.

I had planned to attend & was very much looking forward to the comp, I found however I needed to be with my family ystdy.

when I woke up at four am to get ready to leave the weather radar showed what was install for the day. So why waste a complete day by going to Wales to sit in the clag.

Stayed at home and did some fencing.

I had a nice day, and it made a welcome change from fencing, pruning, bricking, mowing and all those things that seem to too often get in the way of friendships.

I too had a nice day Mike, Bluto was on step once Abbo calmed it down, very impressive piece of foam!

The weather prediction on the met/xc site don't always get it bob on.

Sunday could of been completely different.

As soon as we dropped down the road by around a 100mtr it was clear,so I think we were just unfortunate.

I enjoyed the Bluto Greame, it seriously has some pace. Also had a good attempt at flying mode 1 with Mikes Wildthing.

Thanks both for letting have ago.
