The team is Martin Newnham, Mark Redsell, Simon Thornton.  John Phillips is our Team Manager.  For full info, including a map of the slopes with details and photos and the list of pilots see:

http://www.wcf3f.dk/

I arrived yesterday, the others arrive late Thursday.  Flying on the Elsingholm slope this morning, and going up to Vest Mors later as the wind swings.  Wind 12-15 m/s at the moment, so quite pleasant.

Anyone know if there is going to be a live video feed, the same as Germany did last time?

Cheers

No I don't think so.  But there are quite a few people using the live video feature on Facebook, so look out for that.  Plenty of live video forecast already during practise sessions

This is the 8 meter slope at Vest Mors.  Wind is gusting over 20 m/s at the moment.  Just had a flight and I can say I think it is a very nice slope

Another view of the Vest Mors slope, taken from across the water - Slovak pilot flying.  Gives a better idea that there is an edge there, which doesn't show in my earlier photo.

If only could bring home some real bacon.  Looked in the local supermarket and not a sign of any Danish!  They must export it all to us!

Its a very strong team we are fielding, absolutely capable so go for it!

The slopes look excellent from what I have seen on FB and it looks like there will be plenty of wind.

Have a brilliant time guys.

Pre contest day 1 today - very little wind and it didn't start until late - nearly half the field flew before the wind died, so it will be group scored.  Only first group kept their scores.  I had a good first flight, and was only 0.24' behind Pierre Rondel, but that is lost now.  Pierre is first man up tomorrow, and I fly 4th.  But forecast is not so good with rain forecast most of the day.

Martin and Mark didn't get to fly today.

While we were waiting for the wind, there was the usual Alula fun:
