Space-saving fuselage rack

Recommended Posts

oipigface

I've been more or less tied to the house for the last few weeks, so I've been getting creative in the shed. Here's a new fuselage rack which stores 17 F3F-type fuselages in less than 1 cubic metre. I've built a wing rack which is more conventional - rigid plastic tubes fitted into a couple of wood uprights. It holds 17 pairs of wings.

I like it John.

Fits my signature for having too many planes and not enough flying  :frantics:

Just because I've got room for 17 doesn't mean I've got 17!

But it means you plan to have them!

Well maybe. Alternatively, I might be planning to start a fuselage repair business, or rent out storage space to people like Gerry who haven't got enough.

Much as I like Dorset, it's a bit too far for me to use your storage space, thank you John  ;)

Hi Jerry

Good excuse for a trip to Dorset once or twice a year, where you could store your fuselage(s) and. possibly, wings there too, and not have to be subjected to the bleating of ' er indoors saying " If you think you're taking up all the luggage space in the car with your d*mn flying toys, you've got another think coming!" "This is MY holiday away from those things!" - you know what they moan about.......inexplicable but predictable.......

Regards

Pete
