 Southern Winter League F3f 2016/17..

This season, the Southern winter league F3f comps of 2016/17 will be hosted & staged by the Whitesheet RFC in Wiltshire. This was similarly done for the 2014/15 season and proved to be both very popular & successful indeed. Each comp being very well supported, both by regular F3f pilots, & those entering an F3f comp for the very first time.

The Winter league comps are run in a warm friendly atmosphere, and are the perfect introduction for newcomers to F3f. Its the way that most of today’s regularly competing F3f pilots themselves started. Lots of hints, tips, advice & encouragement are always gladly & freely given at these events.

After a very difficult personal yr for all my family, which forced me to be away from my being Whitesheet's Comp Sec, I am very much looking forward to shortly returning to this very enjoyable & rewarding position. I am already enjoying there organising & am looking forward to running these comps.

I wish to thank in advance team 'Gifcof' members Graeme & Tony, who have already offered their invaluable practical help on race days, thanks guys. With the additional much appreciated co-operation & help of many other pilots as in the 2014/15, I believe we are all set for a very enjoyable & successful Southern Winter league.

Southern Winter League dates 2016/17..

Nov    13th,    reserve  27th

Dec     11th     No reserve (its Xmas).

Jan        8th       reserve 29th.

Feb       12th     reserve  26th.

I shall post entry details & dates in good time prior to each comp.

       Regards

              Stu.

OK Guys,

After consulting with Tony L, & with the latest BBC forecast showing a dry day, sunny intervals & NNW winds I'm calling the comp ON.

I've got to go out now for a couple of hrs but will be home around 9.30 - 10.00 pm if any queries.

   Regards

      Stu.

Morning Guys,

Weather update;-

The Forecast remains dry , bright with long sunny spells NNW  http://www.bbc.co.uk/weather/2642730 . The wind will therefore be slightly crossed.

This morning after further discussion with Tony & Graeme , I am keeping the 'Comp ON' call.

See you all in the morning.

   Stu.
