"Just had a quick spin with the Strike & wanting to get the challenge going again.

Cloudy, Hot & humid with a little lift about, only managed a 2:39 as I wanted to fly the Stream too

Phil Carter 29/05/17 Strike 2.  2:39"

Spent the long weekend at the airfield and Sunday was perfect with not a breath of wind and clouds bubbling all round.

Had an enjoyable afternoon of getting back into it, with launch heights steadily increasing. Managed to have lots of flights around the 2 to 3 minute mark. Saw lots of birds circling in various places but always upwind of me at the wrong time then lucked into a boomer and was almost out of sight within minutes. Spent the last 2 minutes doing aeros on the way down.....

Nice one Alan!

Also went out after work today after a long hot day. Fantastic clean air & plenty of lift about. Glad to see you back in the challenge

Managed a 7:01 with the Strike 😏 Should of taken the Elf 😄

I should've gone out again today as conditions were perfect but work got in the way....

Must also add that I totally lucked in to my boomer....

Not much skill involved, just managed to throw at the right time... :D

That sounds like most of my flights...fling it for long enough & your bound to find it eventually 😄

Pleased to see Alan Perrin win the 7th Mosquito Challenge of the Year, giving Phil and Jon a run for their money.
