The next round of the league will be at Bartletts Farm, Rettendon on Sunday 13th August.

Seems like ages since the last comp, so attached is a list showing  league positions up to date.

This will also be the first ‘official’ BARCS Electroslot event after our rules were accepted by BARCS following the trial comp at Radioglide.

Bartletts Rules are unchanged apart from one minor amendment relating to height limiter settings detailed below.

As usual, 3 classes of model can be flown, Open, 2Mtr and 100” (up to 2.6mtr allowed), and each score points in their own league.  2 entries allowed, but must be with different class models.

But please note that models must comply with BARCS class restrictions to also score in the appropriate BARCS Leagues.

Height limiter CAN be set to any height upto 300mtrs.

Maximum motor run time 30sec.

Penalty for launching over 200mtrs, but no bonus for launching below 200mtrs.

Entry £5.00 per class, payable on the day.

Please register your entry here

All 2.4 unless advised.

As promised Pete, I will be there.

What is the latest that I can nominate which class I wish to fly?

It's a long time since I flew a model without dire consequences, so need to think long and hard about which model I need the least.

Just be good to see you back on the field Jef.

I always plan to print everything for the comp on the Friday night prior to the comp, so as usual entry in by then. Sometimes I can leave  it till Saturday.

Changing the class you want to enter can be done on the field on comp day.

This needs to be done before any scores are entered.

Hi Pete

Expect a couple of old fellas from Watford who are Bartlett ( in fact any comp other than club) virgins may fly, may just watch and learn.

If we fly it will be Open (1) and 2.6 for both of us.

Be gentle with us:rolleyes:

Thanks Roger, you will be welcome to either watch or fly, preferably fly though.

We are known for looking after virgins in this part of Essex:)

Hopefully you will decide to fly, and whilst you don't have to make that decision now,  I will have to include a provision for you when I make the matrix.

So unless you want to fly as Spare1, Spare2 and 3, on the day I need more info from you. Your Full name and BMFA number will do.

Note that whilst this is not a BMFA comp, you do need BMFA insurance to fly at Bartletts Farm.

1) Roger Robbins - 111285

2) John Snell - 054602

We will both be flying, probably providing the entertainment.

What time do we need to be there ?
