Apologies for the late notification, but I need to pull out of this competition.

That was a brilliant competition.  Really enjoyed it and, apart from Pete's landing in a tree, no breakages (that I saw).
Many thanks to all of you involved in the organisation.

Thanks guys for organising yet another enjoyable and challenging comp. Despite receiver issues I still got to take home two undamaged models - a great day nonetheless. Thanks.

An excellent competition again, thanks guys.

One of my zeros was because I wasn't getting back to the field and restarted to save a long walk, the other two were because my Altis registered a motor start on the ground before I'd even launched, the motor ran when I really launched because of the emergency start. Now got to find the reason, not even sure I'd armed the motor when the Altis received the on/offsignal.

Got home (Lawford, Essex) from the field without stopping for a charge, 79 miles, guessometer showing 74 miles. Drafted an empty car transported to the tunnel, boy do they make a big hole in the air! 'made' several miles. Then an Asda lorry to Colchester. First low fuel comes on at 18 miles left, second with 8 showing. From second warning it is estimated that 16 miles can still be driven in Summer (12 in Winter). I got the second warning with 12 still to go :-), turned ECO mode on when off the A12 and made it home OK, all the while thinking who's driveway could I turn in to if the Leaf went in to turtle mode - https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=21&v=QG1kXfflWnk

Where not to park your model:no:

As the wingspan of my Ultima is 4mtrs, you can estimate how high that dead old Oak Tree is.

Probably 30+mtrs:frantics:
