It's a pity but it's the right decision Mike...

So yes right decision

Sorry Mike, I cant make the reserve.

I promised my wife we could go to the Birmingham Christmas market and she has already booked us into a hotel and organised childcare over a month ago... I've made sure there is nothing planned now for each comp and reserve day until the end of the season.

Hope you guys get a comp in and the weather plays ball.

Brett

YEA!  That's a good omen

Weather forecast for next Saturday is currently rubbish

Did you know that if you right click anywhere on Google maps and then click on "what's here?"  a little box pops up with the positions GPS coords in decimal?

Yeah currently showing 8.5cm of the white stuff!!!! Not doing the burway in those conditions again was very scary last time !!

Next Saturday is a long way away yet so you can't go by what they are predicting yet.

Yeah for sure Les ....just happened to be browsing weather and notice snow for that area.....it was very dangerous last time on the black ice ! car was moving towards the edge with handbrake on !!3 hrs to get up to top ...

Mark and I abandoned his car half way up the Burway a few years back as it started to slide backwards.

Various attempts to melt the ice it was parked on failed, so in the end we left it there and walked back to Church Stretton.

Went to the Co-op and purchased several bags of salt.

They were remarkably effective as the ice around the car melted it ran the salted water down the hill melting the ice below.

Within ten minutes of putting it down the whole of the Burway that was lower than us was clear.

Ah well, we seem to have missed my point in that the weather seems to reverse from the previous weeks forecast, so I'm expecting it to turn out to be good on the day
