Anyway;

Lets get it On!

You can find you own vids for that one!

Forecast no longer shows any rain, wind is good.

So it's Go go go,  (probably a gogo vid for that one as well).

See you alls in the morning bright and breezy.

If you get the poles out early, Scott will knock the rust off them with his leading edge!

Thanks to everyone that came along today, and hope your eye is feeling better Mark.

Weather was dull but no rain and a good wind on to the steeper edge of Ashes Hollow.

good consistent conditions and 11 rounds plus a round zero. We decided a round zero made sense today to give everyone a chance to have a go without any pushing and shoving or hogging etc.

Bretts won round Zero. Silly boy. 😊

Most  rounds were won with low 40sec times. Exception was FTD which was a 37 by me.

Seemed to me the fastest way around the course was a high em on base b to avoid lower turbulence. Base a didn’t seem so fussy.

Bank and yank hugging the edge, which often works well on this slope usually resulted in speed being lost as the run progressed.

Jerry had a bit of a nightmare with a stuck aileron on his crossfire resulting in having to fly his typhoon. Then a later fix on the Crossover resulted in a over exhuberate turn and a spin. Fortunately crossovers are tough models. Shouldn’t take long to get it up and running as good as new again. Other offs today, mark trebles toxic and a servo mount break on Mark Richards  Tragi

Big thanks to Jerry and Mark R for staying and manning the centre and base after their days finished early.

Andy is checking and compiling the results. Should be along soon.

Real shame your best flight was in round zero, but that’s f3f for you. It’s a cruel game!

Yeah, that's just the way it is. Shows what could have been if I was able to be more consistent.

Keep trying to fly smoothly and it will happen.

Thanks again all.

Awesome, thanks for getting that sorted out Andy.

I'm happy with that result. Let's hope this is the start of more competitions to come before the end of the season.

Not last???? !!! but only due to others misfortune.

What do I need ................ practice ......... practice and more flying

Thanks Mike.  Was one of the best wind days I have experienced, watching the flag at A, it was very steady, straight on the slope.

Good meeting all again.
