I think it's more likely calling for Sou'westers, capes n wellies   (auto spell checker changed the e to an i - luckily I spotted it :frantics:

I never go anywhere without mine, whatever.

Pity about the comp, but I've got lots of stuff to do in the shed anyway.

Thanks for letting me know Mike.

Most of the ice out in the Dom Republic is in the cocktails.

Right call Mike but I would have made the trip if you went the other way.

Pity, but let's see what happens towards the end of the month. Who knows, the reserve date might be a corker.

Weather forecast looks promising still for Saturday.

However we are short on entries.

Let me know if you are thinking of coming along so I can make a decision on running the event or not.

We need to update the lmsa.org.uk website. That says Ashes Hollow can handle from East to South winds. Unless it can and its just not suitable for F3F.

Comp or not I'm really keen on coming down as I want to maiden my new Skorpion.

Grassy Bowl at Ashes is SE .

Edge is S.

Bowl will fly Round to E dependent on wind strength. Gets bumpy as wind increases.

Ok its a go-er!

Meet at 9.30 at the top car park on the Burway.

Church Stretton.

List is showing 8 entries so organisationally its tight, and if anyone else can make it it will help things along.

If you are on the list and cant make it along now please let me know asap.

Forecast is for some SUNSHINE and 13mph winds. :)

Aiming on flying at Ashes on the far RH side of the grassy bowl.

Wind direction is ok for this slope but it will need a test flight or two first.

Comp didn’t happen today. Nice clear skies and a shy full of thermals made for a very very bumpy ride on the Se bowl.

Eventually mark and I moved to Ashlett where the conditions were much better.

although initially bumpy the afternoon steadily improved as the day settled. Some thermals were very impressive. Slope worked better and became consistent mid afternoon.
