Wishing you all a safe journey.

I'm about to leave home,  I'm pretty certain i'l be sitting in a traffic Jam on the A303 at Stonehenge for an hr :bye:

So anyone got any scores?

Its almost like the English open isn’t happening with the news being so sparse!

It is happening.  Light mizzle to start.  Wind - enough but not great lift, a few thermals, and some rounds.  No idea of the order but times from 70 secs to 46 secs.

1st. Mike Shellim

2nd Mark Treble

3rd Stuart Wallace.

It was a bit of a lottery all weekend but Mike Shellim flew consistently well all weekend and deserved to win.

Awesome result guys, well done to the top three. Also well done to everyone else, 14 pilots in the 900s is a close comp.

See you guys in 2 weeks.

A very enjoyable weekend away.

Big congratulations to Mike - Mr. Consistent.

Huge thank you to Stuart for organising and thanks to all who helped in many ways.

Yesterday was variable & fun - today was variable & frustrating. When the plane suddenly drops 50 feet in sink from the top of the climb out you know it's not going to go well...

Roll on next year

Phil.

Great weekend.  A good competition in interesting conditions.

Thanks to Gromit and all of the Whitesheet helpers for putting on the event.  Thanks to all the flyers for making it interesting.  I think everyone got at least one high spot, and we all had our share of comically poor air.

Well done to Mike for the win.  Very well flown.

Thanks also to Pete for continuing his sponsorship of the event.  My go to all purpose everyday sport flying plane came from Pete/Southcoast Sailplanes about seventeen years ago, long may there be the market for less esoteric moulded planes.
