Three of us coming from Scotland.

Trying to get Joel to come too, if only to prove he doesn't only fly in Wales...

Fingers crossed 👍

Us Scots* are pushing the boat out and have a highly salubrious Travelodge booked on the outskirts of Birmingham.

Who's going to tell them?

There was a FPV drone flying on the Mynd the other day.

Breaking all the rules.

I could have stopped for a word, but doubt I would have been able to catch his eye.

not without jumping anyway.

I'm looking forward to the comp, we need to get another one in.

I might even have a family member around to watch for a few rounds, that would be a first for me.

Shrewsbury or Telford might have been a better call .  I guess you won’t be around Saturday night then for a curry in Church Stretton

Let's hope so Stu, mainly because that means the comp would have been called on, haha.

After-sun required. Never seen PoleCot looking so bleached.

Sorry guys but its not going to be worth your trip.

I'm calling the comp off, although I do expect that the day will be able to support some level of sports flying it just wont manage a comp.

Direction is currently unsettled but does seem to be improving to a Sw later on Sunday.

Local activity may just create a few nice thermals and occasional slope puff, but no consistency.

One of these days we might get to fly again.

Pity but all week I've been looking at the weather thinking we had 2 chances, slim or none... haha

Thanks for letting us know Mike. Guess I will see everyone at the Welsh open and possibly the reserve date.

Thanks for the early call Mike. It's been looking difficult all week.

Luxury hotel successfully cancelled for refund 👍

East Lomond will have to do us. See you in Wales 😎
