Shinto tow-hook position

Recommended Posts

Hi guys,

Wonder if anyone can help.

I have just ordered an adjustable tow-hook to install on my Shinto but can’t find any  measurements on the internet... l’ve read basically everything I could find on the Shinto but can’t get any info on the tow-hook position... 😭😭😭😭

Is there anyone with a F3B Shinto fuselage that could share the distance from the tail or the  nose (what ever is easiest), to the trailing edge of the tow-hook.

Thanks in advance!😁👍

Paul

I'm not familiar with the Shinto but whenever I've fitted hooks I like to position it so the model can be hung from it upside down fairly level. This means you're as close to the CG as you can get.

A couple of mm fwd shouldn't hurt but you don't want to go behind the CG :frantics:
