Sounds good to me John. I take it you mean a sit down rather than a take away?

Not sure exactly what time we will be arriving but should be there before 7pm I would think. I will let you know.

Hi All

Quick update on todays proceedings.
Choice of slope was the first issue this morning., with the forecast Westerly wind never materialising.

The afternoon proved a little more productive, with the new NE wind forecast actually allowing us to scrape 3 rounds in.

So the interim results after 3 rounds are :-

FTD went to Peter G with a 49.23 in R1

Hi All

Final results here after a great weekend. We could have done with a bit more wind, but with blue skies and clear conditions over both days can't be bad
Winds were where they should be today,  a rather cool NE veering ENE with speeds ranging from 1m/s to 7m/s provided a bit of variability
Another 5 rounds were completed before the number of reflights began to get out of proportion.

So after 8 rounds, the final winner, and CoC Champion, was the ever popular Mike Shellim, second was Mr T9 himself, Rich Bago, and in third, Mark "shirt sleeves" Treble completing the trio.
Mark T also had the FTD of the weekend with a 45.20 in R7. Great results guys and much deserved.

Complete placings here :-

Full spread sheet to follow

Many thanks to all the pilots for making it such an enjoyable weekend, and  for mucking in an shifting all the kit on and off the hill.
Thanks to John T for administering his 'unique' self regulating ( mostly  ) buzzer supremo system.
Look forward to the next get together

Jon

Thanks to John, Mark T and Rich for running the comp in the tricky conditions.

Was a fun event with enough drama to amuse....... the ooohs and aaaaahs as various pilots got good air and bad air.

Contactsto Mike on the win with his very tidy fast flying and to Rich and Mark on the other podium positions

Got back to Edinburgh by 7.30 fairly knackered and with a face that could have done with a bit more sun screen. .... sunburn in March ??!!

Cheers Ewan

Very pleasant couple of days on the slope despite the rubbish flying weather.  Most of experienced very varied air,  reminding us how fickle f3f can be in marginal conditions.

No doubt about Mike S though, very well flown every round and a much deserved win, with the striborg looking  pretty unfased by the conditions.

Thanks Jon, Mark T - always a bit tricky CD'ing events like this one.
