f3fisa
I think it was £280 for Prismaray and £350 for Stingray as advertised on BMFA. I was tempted as they should have been double that price, but they went very quickly. David.
wookman
Yeah, BMFA classifieds. The Prismaray sold within hours and the Stingray went within 24 hours. Somebody got a bargain. At least they can afford to fly them like they stole them!

Nigel_W
I believe there are many planes over 7kg being offloaded at the moment due to new regs that require a CAA exemption to fly over 400ft. The permission for BMFA members to fly above 400ft is limited to 7kg. There was a 6m moulded Ventus advertised in Yorkshire area for under £500 recently. Not sure what the CAA system is for issuing exemptions at the moment, but it is probably not geared up for the large numbers of planes over 7kg that exist (gliders and powered models) and hundreds of locations that these fly from. f3fisa
At least my XModels 3.2m Swift is under 7Kg. BTW the 400ft rule for 7Kg models has been a regulation for many years, but some people chose to ignore it. David.
Rodders
I’ve been after a Prismaray for ages. I’ve put the odd wanted adds out etc with no luck. Just can’t shell out the £1200 for the kit. I saw the add on BMFA an phoned up straight away. I think the add was about an 30 mins old at that time. Unfortunately, both the Prismaray ( my first choice ) and Stingray we’re gone. So if anyone else has a Prismaray at £280 with all the servos, give me a shout. Rodders
wookman
They would have been cheap at double the price they were offered at.
